The Story of The handmade pear
Hi! We’re Sophie and Amy.
We first met at college in 2002 where we studied Animal Management together. After college, we went to university together and became animal loving, lifelong friends. We have studied, lived and worked together. We both qualified as Veterinary nurses and have a passion for animal care and welfare. After Sophie had her son, she took a change in direction and became a qualified nail technician. Starting her own business named ‘Beauty Ritual’.
Fast forward to 2020 when, during lockdown, we both found ourselves out of work.
We decided to start 'The Handmade Pear' when a conversation on zoom, with our close friend, reignited our love for statement dangly earrings.
We absolutely LOVE creating, making and selling our unique earrings and sharing our crazy journey with you all.

What are your earrings made from?
All of our earrings are made with love using polymer clay. Every design is unique and no two earrings are the same. We use either stainless steel or brass findings (the piece that goes in your ear). This is due to these two metals being hypoallergenic, hard wearing and rust resistant.
What is your return policy?
For hygiene reasons we can not accept any returns, unless faulty. If you have any problems with your earrings please contact us as soon as possible at hellohandmadepear@outlook.com
Do you offer gift cards?
This is something we are working on and hope to be able to offer soon! Watch this space!
What are the payment options?
We take card or PayPal for payments
Shipping and Delivery
What You Need to Know
We know ordering a pair of earrings is super exciting and you want them as soon as possible! All our earrings are posted next working day, 1st class with Royal Mail.
Packaging and postage is charged at £2 for UK orders or £3.50 for European orders. If wanting to ship anywhere else in the world please contact us before placing your order.
